Hello 5th graders and families!
We are quickly motoring through our 4th week of school and we are really buckling down!
We will have our first Social Studies test on Friday, September 16th (changed from Tuesday) on our Reconstruction Unit.
We will start DARE on Thursday, This will last 10 weeks and a guest instructor from the Richland County Police Department will be leading the sessions.
MAP Testing will take place on Wednesday (9/14) and Thursday (9/15)
Also, Students will be turning in their Book Journals (small composition books) this Friday to be checked for completion. I will only be looking at entries from this week. Most nights (unless otherwise directed by me), students should be bringing this home to keep track of their reading.
Students should also be filling out their agendas every day. We check them in the afternoon to make sure they have it completed, and we encourage parents to as well. Look for notes from teachers and important information.
